Could do Dave but I guess there is little point in having a 'Contact Us' area on the website if you are not going to respond to it. Iguess I was being too simplistic when I read

I guess that could have changed. Your evidence is clear but I am just saying what the site says at the point you are about to pay.

This "double whammy" charge was also in effect for the Magic Weekend tickets. When I filled in the booking form it was clear that there would be a £3 sales fee PLUS another £3 for paying by debit or credit card, even though the ticket I was buying was priced at just £7.50! Therefore I paid by cheque in order to avoid the second charge. I'd have thought the whole process of taking payment by cheque would be more laborious and less cost effective for all concerned than processing a debit card payment, but there you go!
