pathetic, yet another crap crowd at the stoop.
three attendances under 3000, and not one home crowd has reached 4000.
Why the hell are you lot in SOOPER DOOPER League ??

Would you like to but some braincells or maybe a nice place in SL? Oh I forgot, you had one and made a complete balls up of it
Leigh did, signed too many 'has beens' though we did defeat the mighty London Broncos that season.
Though pre- super league, you probably aren't aware of this, but in 1981-82 it was called The Stones Bitter Championship, Leigh won it. In one game against Castleford we had over 12000 at Hilton Park (jealous ?), we don't play there now, we've got a lovely brand new stadium.
'Swings & Roundabouts' matey, just pray that you lot don't lose your franchise, as you'll be back getting London Crusader's (remember them ?) gates of 500 - awww Bless !
Just admit it, London Folk just aren't interested in Rugby League are they, be it at HARLEQUINS, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Barnet, Brentford, etc
I think your post just goes to show far you have gone backwards over 25 years. That will be very difficult to turn around as it is a new generation of people you will be trying to attract. Some I suspect will be Wigan fans and others football fans.
What was your average crowd the year you beat us in the Super League?

I thought the trolls only roamed the M62 on Midsummers Eve!!!
Yes our crowds are poor, we have a lot of other sports to compete with in the capital not just RL, pigeon racing and whippet racing like you do.
Our fans are loyal and committed to the cause and want to see success both on the park and in the stands. Our squad is in good shape and in most cases show a winning commitment to the Quins cause.
Our results this season and our position in the table show we are worthy of our Superleague ranking. This year is the first of three. We will still be in Superleague in 2012 and we will be holding our own.
Yes we have problems, all clubs do. We have been shafted by Sky TV , we are sometimes ignored by the management. We criticise the board and commercial department, show me a club who doesn't.
RL is in the capital for the foreseeable future.
It is admirable that you reminisce about your successes in the 80's,fact is that's where they remain. Leigh sports village looks quite decent from the photo's but let's face it it's just a heavily funded local council pitch.
We do appreciate that you share an interest in Harlequins Rugby League now be a good boy and go feed the ferret, pigeon, whippet or whatever brush down your flat cap and go down t'pub for a nice pint of mild- it might relax you.

http://www.slstats.org/t14/Leigh%20Cent ... mmary.html average of 4,735 (boosted enormously by travelling fans being able to make it down the road from Wigan, Warrington & Saints et al) and low of 3,201 - it's hardly setiting the world alight is it knucklehead and you're a heartland side, with more than a hundred years history.
And if you want to bring up historical attendance figures, 15,013 watched Fulham play Wakefield in 1981....
But back to the present, face facts - new stadium or not, you'll always be a suburb of St Helens, Warrington and Wigan and as such an unlikely candidate for SL. Finishing in the bottom half of the Co-op Champs isn't going to help you either....
Btw - Halifax destroyed you today, in case you've been avoiding the results? I can only assume you didn't go along (hardcore fan eh!?) as you posted not long after the game finished and there's no way you made it back home that quickly....
Good work.
