London has the individual talent to be in the top 8, especially with Craig Gower as the playmaker. It is up to the individuals to give their best each week and to play as a team.
was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

2,538 is the Lowest gate for Hull in London....4,665 the biggest with an average of 3,633 over 17 games. 6th biggest draw in SL for London...anything less than 3k will be a disgrace!
What a shame that London are up against top 6 sides for the next few weeks. I hope it doesn't demoralise the team if they lose all of them, because I still think that, when they play with passion and with Gower, the team can beat at least half the clubs in Super League.
The next few weeks may skew the club's position on the table negatively. However after that phase, they can start to win and hence climb the table again, if their mental attitude is right.

Problem is, with sub 1k gates, the team will ask themselves "what's the point".......if they don't get a result on Thursdsay, it may well be June before they can win a game.... Losses to Widnes and Wakey in the opening weeks spelt the end of their PLay-off hopes in 2013.....the club are moving away from the stoop next year and patently, the fans and back office staff can't be bothered any more......dead man walking is a pretty accurate way to describe the club.

Surely they will get more than 1,000 on Thursday. The team has shown more passion in recent weeks. The results have followed. The fans know that. It is worth going just to see Kieran Dixon play. With another exciting young attacking player in the French side, full back Morgan Escare, there should be some entertaining play. If Gower plays then London has a chance to win, though it won't be easy.
Gus McKay needs to get off his backside for once and promote the game.

...he's too busy making poppadoms!
4 Home games so far this year:
Widnes, 2,856: 14% down on the average gate 1996-2012. Wakefield, 1,887: 34% down on the average gate 1996-2012 HKA, 1,837: 44% down on the average gate 1996-2012 Hull FC, 1,865: 49% down on the average gate 1996-2012.
Thus far, 2,111: 43% down on the average seasons gate 1996-2012
Catalans average to date 1996-2012 is 2,635........I reckon they'll get half of that at best....and if it's cold and wet, the 1k mark is at risk!
