Re: Leeds : Sat Apr 13, 2013 2:57 pm
It was a lousy night last night, but there was a few positives out of the game,1st half was a great defensive performance, very stubborn and working for each other, straight from start, Chad limped off early, but broncos still stuck to the game plan, which was stopping them playing the running rhinos game, we even had two good chances in 1st half from little kicks on last play of ball, which actually means we were completing sets all half last night.
We had three good chances in 2nd half, which could have given us 18 ponits etc, but we could just not get on the end of the kick through etc, even with these it took a very very late try to seal game, (18+6) etc.
I did take heart that we did at least complete simple sets and kick on, half way down the field, conditions were slippery, as well,
After all, its only leeds, just under 13,000 people in the house, a good team really, i can stand losing last night, cause i thought that might be start of us, starting to get the simple stuff up and running. Ref was also very tetchy last night, even missing blatant try for us in 2nd half, ball was def in, i was drunk and i could see it was a score.
so lets have another game next week, basic stuff, get ourselves a win, and build on it. we are not scoring enough, but the bigger issue is, we are NOT converting the few chances we get,
