People might say 'look at Rea has got to work with' but I'm not seeing any progression, any sort of response from him. The same mistakes being made in 2011 are happening now. Just watched the first half tries from Salford, and it was more painful than live! how can a team keep going on the pitch week after week and defending like that, what does Rea do at training, does he do any coaching, we got too carried away with a few weeks at the end of last season and now it seems more a holiday for him as well. At least Jamie was showing players their positions and encouraging them!

Completely agree with you, rugby league is a business and not just jobs for the boys, you have to be Ruthless! Rea needs to go now before we start looking at any recruitment, but as you say that is IF we survive!

I spoke to TR in the bar after the débàcle at Gillingham, he looked and talked like a broken man who didn't know what else he could do. Time for him to move on.
Jamie Soward's biggest contribution, by a country mile, was the way he marshalled the defence. Yes we have lots of poor 1-on-1 tacklers, but that is compounded by the lack of positional awareness. It doesn't matter how good your tackling technique is, if you're not close enough to the ball carrier to make contact, you're never going to tackle him.

Jamie Soward showed us exactly how bad the coaching is. The coaches job is to get the best out of his players. The fact that a bloke who had just stepped off a plane and only seen the team play for 20 mins could have such an impact on the energy level and organsiation of the team is telling.

Did anyone see Soward's celebration after scoring his try... blowing smoke from his pistols & holstering them? He must have thought he was Billy the Kid... fantastic. We need a cocky, confident player in our squad big time & we now have one.
