Longy was asst/backs coach at Salford and their 3/4 and halves were very impressive at times under his coaching.
Wigan bought Matty Smith on his Salford and Long coached form.
Hull bought Houldsworth on his Salford and ..............................
Leeds signed Joel Moon from Salford on his .............................

Long was tried at Wigan and he didn't fit in. Wigan, though, are in no doubt he can be a top class coach.
Moving out of the Wigan area could be the best thing ever for Longy and London Broncos. LB are taking a risk but Long is not untried as an asst coach in SL. Though all British head coaches in SL were assts first.

The location of the Hive sounds good. What is the distance from Euston and what time will it take to get there?

From Euston Square via Wembley Park you could do it in 20 minutes if you were very lucky with the connections

The RFL and London Broncos RLFC are delighted to announce that after nearly 16 months of exhaustive negotiations, a "new dawn" in Rugby League outside its traditional heartlands is about to take place. A series of ground breaking agreements and arrangements have been reached which will secure SL rugby in the capital.

1 .Agreement between Mr David Hughes and Barnet FC which delivers the London SL club a venue for its 13 home SL games in 2014 as well as any additional Challenge Cup Matches.

5. Collective agreement that all of the good stuff is 100% down to the tireless work of Nigel Wood who should be canonised by the Pope at the earliest opportunity.

Not sure if any of you use Newsnow but according to that the Broncos site was updated twice this evening at 21:55.
