was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Yes, how did you feel the boys went on the paddock ?
Better than I expected.......but they just don't have enough talent/experience for SL. Wire sounded sloppy in the first half but the clicked in the second and we were overrun.

That's about the size of it really although we didn't look half bad in the 1st, Tony Smith must have put a rocket up his lads at half time as they were like a different side. We had very little in the way of chances after the break and blew the few we had. Was impressed with Wire's determination not to concede in the 2nd half despite the game being well and truly won. At least there was some effort being showed by the Broncos - a big plus after last season!
