was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Yes you are correct along with a few thousand who did the same last year. Keep dreaming.
Didn't I read somewhere that the 2013 average attendance was 2200? In which case you're trying to tell me nobody went to a game at the Hive ( I guess you're not far off but the number was never negative ).
Those who want to go will go, those that don't will whinge and find excuses to justify their position. Makes no odds to me whether you go or not and it's purely down to you as to whether you see one, two or twenty games. As long as you are happy with your decision that's all that matters.
I just like to know your decision was made on fact and not prejudice. At the moment I suspect it's the later, but hey it's your loss if you are missing games based on misinformation.

Looking at the financials for 2012 and based on the number 200 for last years "members", it's fair to say that the club has lost in the region of 1,100 "up front" purchasers. Whilst this isn't "last year", it is fair to say that we lost over a thousand ST holders because of the move to the Hive. I would not say many of these losses were because of the membership issue, more the "we're crap and I'm not going north to watch is get hammered" issues. As for daftdads motives? Regardless of if it's his prejudice against "memberships" or not,the fact is he is not alone. I really hope they can get some fans back in 2015........I really enjoyed my first trip to the Hive and can only recommend that others who haven't bothered, do so this year coming. Tidy ground and perfect for the level we will be playing at.
The simple reason crowd numbers have dropped is because of the results on the pitch, you don't have to go into the whys and wherefores we all know simple fact people do not want to pay to watch any team lose. Contrary to what you suggest gutters, the optimists on here are not suggesting everything in rosy in the broncos garden, I will say it again, we know it's pants, but what is the point in looking at the negative in every single thing. For me I think next year could be interesting with some competitive rugby, the super 8 will throw up a surprise. The draw of Doncaster compared to Wigan is a dilemma, but if we start winning, then folk will come back, not in massive numbers but people will come to watch a team that's winning Sundays gonna cause some folk hurt, being totally selfish it means I will get to probably every home game, and get to do more community stuff on a Saturday. Nope things ain't great, have never said it was, the club is still here tho! As for season ticket or membership, might be wrong but I suspect daft dad would still have made the choice to be a walk up on the day fan irrelevant if way season ticket membership was done But the nub of the matter, you can only look forward, harping on about the past will not change it. Drone over.

I have historic LB data on attendances that blows that theory out of the water......yes, you lose fans, but not in the numbers we did!

We're nearly there Michael....if we could just get rid of Hughes then I'd start being more positive.

No it won't....but you keep on praying.....

I hope so, but building a marketing plan around a winning team has "form" at London Broncos"........in case you missed the meeting IT DOESNT FUCKIN9 WORK!

I fly from Wellington to Auckland and back for Sunday Warriors games.......some people need to take 2 concrete pills and harden the hell up!

Maybe, but it's not the club I started following in 2002.

I believe you may, or may not be right.....

correct....but as long as people keep shaking his hand and thanking Hughes, neither will we learn from our mistakes either.
As you like to do it I will pick each comment and respond. Historical data is like stats you can bend them to say what you want, the draw of rugby league in the south is fragile, of course flitting around from ground to ground is not going to help, I stand by my statement, when a team is losing it loses fans.
Mr Hughes nearly went! What happened?
Next year, what are this week's lottery numbers please as you can predict the future. I stopped getting premier sport because they stopped showing championship games, NRL I found dull to watch.if it's the super 8 you mean, well we will have to wait and see but I think interesting is more positive than no it won't.
Bully for you going up to aukland I bet it's still easier than the commute some London fans have done over the years, if warriors were getting spanked every game would you do it?
Are Wigan, saints, Leeds, Bradford the same team as in 2002 is rl the same, it's called change things happen people come and go we can't stop it.
yes we should learn from mistakes, but there is one vital thing here, we don't own the club, we don't have the ability to own the club so it's not us that have to learn from mistakes because apart from going or not going to games their is not a lot we can do about it, that's the same for nearly all clubs.
oops missed one, typing in capitals does not mean I read louder, and why use foul language
back on thread, good to see the website back up, just got to see if the shirts turn up, wonder if we will get a season launch event? We have the players, we have the venue.
