It was a caption comp.....the fact is that there are enough people in that picture for a Patrol and not an "army".....which is the real point, but you choose to focus on your agenda, AGAIN. You really don't get the whole internet forum thing, do you?

In the end you chose to mock a bunch of people who went to watch rugby league, saw their team win, and had FUN.

my limited understanding as not my field of expertese but have seen enough on telly, a patrol is normaly made up of 4 or 6 personell so it cant be a patrol.
Gutters the point that is being made is you started a caption comp and you put the first caption there which was a dig at the folk in the picture.
There was no need for that and no call for it, as Perry said you for some reason cannot accept that some people are just happy to be watching rugby league in London.
By all means carry on with your digs at Gus/DH/Joey/Nick C/Hendo/Brian Mac/Rob P and or anyone else remotly connected to the club but why have a dig at true supporters.

The rump Broncos fanbase consist of 2 types of people.

Those who will watch rugby league no matter what & those who blow smoke up David Hughes' backside.

Don't have an issue with the former but the latter are part of the problem.

Lol cowgirl so where on here have you seen anyone actually say what a brilliant job is being done by those who own and run the club. Thing is all of us realise that it's a bit of a crock and yes we all know things could have and should have been done better. But there is also the realisation that it is what it is, non of us have the money or influence to change things. Using the attack of don't go to games while the current ownership keeps following its path is just plain stupid. Supporting the club is exactly that! How that becomes blowing smoke is an interesting discussion.
fact is despite all the pontificating and name calling by some we are still where we are, so called supporters turning on other supporters and having a dig at them for showing some pride seems an odd approach.
If realising that at the moment without DHL we would be talking about the broncos in the past tense, is classed as blowing smoke well we are all in that boat, fact is no one was stepping in to take over when he was walking, that includes the RFL

Obviously I mean DH not DHL although they would be good if they did step in, no doubt other posters on here would spout DHL revenue stream compared to other similar companies and why it's rubbish like everything else but hey, keeps him occupied

There's one poster in particular who continually excuses every eff up made by Hughes as part of a wider RL malaise.

I realise a lot of others just want Broncos fortunes to turn around but the trouble is Hughes has made the brand so toxic I'm not sure it's possible.

Interesting view! The amateur game in London is still going reasonably wel and numbers have not changed that much so the game is being played, personally tho and it is only personal I think the game as a whole has taken a bit of a dip since the world cup and England losing at Wembley, no doubt some will blame DH for that.
I know sales for the NZ game at the Olympic Park are going pretty well, but if England do well in the kick and clap the country wide interest in rl will take another dip as the popularity of ru will leap.
that's not blowing smoke up DH it's just how I see things.

You could take another view, the malaise amongst London broncos fans who walked away because we were not winning ok not even competitive is the ral problem. That reinforced the need for DH to stay, had the supporters kept coming then the club would be more attractive proposition for any new owner, we are now in a chicken and egg situation. No money, so no decent players, no decent players we keep losing, less fans, less money!

back to the post though so called supporters of the club name calling the actual supporters of the club achieves nothing.
