Interesting view! The amateur game in London is still going reasonably wel and numbers have not changed that much so the game is being played, personally tho and it is only personal I think the game as a whole has taken a bit of a dip since the world cup and England losing at Wembley, no doubt some will blame DH for that.
I know sales for the NZ game at the Olympic Park are going pretty well, but if England do well in the kick and clap the country wide interest in rl will take another dip as the popularity of ru will leap.
that's not blowing smoke up DH it's just how I see things.
You could take another view, the malaise amongst London broncos fans who walked away because we were not winning ok not even competitive is the ral problem. That reinforced the need for DH to stay, had the supporters kept coming then the club would be more attractive proposition for any new owner, we are now in a chicken and egg situation. No money, so no decent players, no decent players we keep losing, less fans, less money!
back to the post though so called supporters of the club name calling the actual supporters of the club achieves nothing.
