Goodness me, you really are behind the times. I know Leigh doesnt have a railway station but I assume you've moved out of the Industrial Revolution?

Lets address your points in turn;

Bitter, no idea how I gave that impression. Certainly not, on the crest wave following the best London Broncos team I have seen in years and seeing the club gradually building up from the bottom.

I must assume you didnt attend the home game v Broncos, as if you had, you would have been aware Leigh were cacking themselves having been behind for most of the game and only a devastating 10 minute spell got you the 2pts - against the run of play, but a win is a win.

RFL subsidies - always comes up when true grit northern folk talk about the Broncos, but the snag is not one of them can ever point to a shred of evidence to back it up. I think its called an Urban myth. David Hughes is the guy who subsidises London Broncos.

Overseas players quote, I stand to be corrected but its over 10 years since we were aligned with the rest of the game with overseas players. The number of London born players in our current squad, and others who have moved on into SL is a testamnt, Jamie Acton I believe hails from Hemel Hempstead. So, this is a none point.

And so Gareth Hock, the gentle giant, the family man, the loveable rogue ..... with his own seat at the disciplinary panel, some of the charges found guilty of below, but so many more charges and of course, the drug misuse is another matter:

2016 Leigh v Swinton, 3 match ban for punching, £300 fine

2016 Leigh v Swinton, charged with reckless physical contact with match official, incredibly found not guilty

2015 Salford v St Helens, 3 match ban for use of knees, £300 fine

2015 Salford v St Helens, 3 match ban for use of knees, £300 fine

2014 Salford v Hull, 7 match ban for knocking over ref Matt Thomason, £300 fine

2013 playing for Widnes on loan, 4 game ban for deliberate contact with ref George Stokes

2013 using abusive language towards a referee

2012 Wigan v St Helens, 2 match ban for fighting, £300 fine

2011 Wigan v St Helens, 2 match ban for fighting, £300 fine + £200 bond forfeit

2011 Wigan v Warrington, 5 match ban, 4 matches for eye gouging and 1 match for punching, £300 fine

2008 Wigan v Huddersfield, 5 match ban for grabbing arm of ref Ian Smith, £500 fine

2008 Wigan v Bradford, 1 match ban for punching, £300 fine

Try looking at the video of the Swinton game and I bet you can't spot the match official hes the one in the hoody by the way
If you had read the post I did say this year
Or since he joined Leigh
What has a railway station got to do with anything?
Thanks Hemel for Jamie.
I did attend the match but couldn't remember every aspect of the game for which I apologise. Anyhow looking forward to the game and may the best team win. If it is London so be it you did beat us very well last year. And have improved since then

Back to the important issue, the tj probably chose to use the gents next to the Refs changing room through choice, not as far too walk. There is another set of latrines that the players use at the back of the stand.
Or onto the real issue, so every misdemeanor made by Gareth hock he has green punished for, so what? Does he play for us? No? Would I ever want to see him play for us no?
Bloke plays his rugby rough and tough! He over steps the mark, gets sin binned gets sent off and gets disciplined so what? It's for the opposition that can only be good for us..

To be fair, the fact that he's only been banned once since coming to Leigh points to an improvement in his discipline. And he can't be criticised for the contact with an official if he was found not guilty!

Anyway, looking forward to the game v London. You look a completely different team to last season. Should be a good match!

Have to back you up on this one Iggy, the comment made by Plummy that reckless contact with a match official was "incredably found not guilty" not guilty is not guilty! obviously in the eyes of the disciplinary board there was no reckless contact and with 3 previous charges of a similiar offence I would not imagine they would not look on it lightly, so obviously they had no evidence that any chargable offence occured.

They couldn't enforce the offence Micky, regardless of what the official was wearing. The fact the official entered the field of play without the refs permission is a contradiction to RFL rulings.

Looking forward to the game.. :thumb:

don't know the incident you are talking to, but if iit's anything like physio water carriers etc etc it is there duty to stay out of the way of the players.
4th official has to do the same, so if a 4th official or reserve ref to give them the correct term gets in a players way then it's a difficult situation as you quite rightly say they are on the field of play without the ref specifically calling them on, if a player then runs into that person you can't charge them. If it was a deliberate push grab or lashing out then even under the rfl rules I suspect he would have been charged Were you there did you see the incident? What actually happened
