Nope, I've had my brother in law sit in the East Stand supporting Wigan when they played at the KC, and quite regularly see visiitng team shirts dotted throughout the east stand, presumably the same is true for west and south.

Which part of licensing laws are you missing BG?

Quins don't get the crowds to treat away support like this, they need a re-think.

Not nearly as stupid as limiting your income by sticking away fans who have travelled miles in a crap corner where they can see sod all.

But hey, one day you might get a decent crowd, afterall, you've not really been given a lot of chance have you?

When Hull KR got promoted they said there was only room for one elite team in Hull... how right they were!

Can't say fairer than that.
Sick to fkn death of this east stand b0ll0x......the club is a business and needs to be treated as such......open the whole friggin place and we will be gone in 3 years. Then you can go here

Sorry GF, but you are talking nonsense there - if we cannot offer new customers a chance of a decent view of the game, we will not attract new REPEAT spectators. See my post on an earlier thread on this. If we understand that this club CANNOT afford to not get it's regular customer base north of 4,000, then we MUST invest in the additional staffing required to deliver a good customer experience. Otherwise why waste all that time (and money...) persuading them to come in the first place? The ROI metric will only make sense with repeat purchase - this is a Lifetime Customer Value justification, or not a justification at all.

If we are not prepared to do that, then we might as well accept our non-existence now - the only alternative is a slow death by a thousand cuts. I for one always choose to risk going out fighting, than surrender with a whimper. Indeed, I know of no other business who has succeeded any other way.

PS: I seriously think you have "gone native" on this topic. Just because they hear you speak, does not mean they are listening.

Looking for a coach that can coach

: Fri Mar 27, 2009 9:25 am
I really struggle with what is up with the east stand.

When you consider what Saints, Cas, Wakey, Reds, and even some football clubs have the east stand is very favourable. It seems to fill up for the union team.

Last time at the Stoop the Lexus/LV didn't exists. We are spoilt for choice.

In the summer it is in the sun with a bar underneath, what more could you ask for.

My preference would be open the East stand and the north stand. Stick the away fans in the north stand, overspill into the nearest corner of the East Stand. The rest is for quins fans, allocated for ST holders and the rest unallocated. Seems simple to me and preferable to the arrangement where we also open the south stand for between 50 and 100 spectators.
