I was in the club yesterday discussing the measures that have been posted on here re. advertising the club and games. These have been taken away to be looked at. In the meantime polar panther would you like to come and collect a poster from the volunteer table for the cafe you mentioned and ask them to display it. Anyone who wants a poster for their workplace, local pub or anywhere else can also collect form the table. This covers two of the inputs immediately. Bear with the club, there is an awful lot going on behind the scenes which they are not able to openly discuss at the moment. Have faith in them. Everything will be evaluated and lessons learnt. On another issue of how to spead the name of Quins RL. Petra and I visited a very friendly pub called 'The Bloomsbury' in Staines Road, Twickers, just been refurbished and the landlady has agreed to show our games against Wigan and Catalan on SKY and will also supply free nibbles to anyone wearing their Quins tops. The tops are to encourage a game type atmosphere which hopefully will rub off on the locals and get them interested. If enough fans go along it could become a regular meeting place to watch games on a friday / saturday evening. Everyone has asked the club to get in the faces of the locals - this is a way we can all help to do it whilst enjoying the challenge.

The Bloomsbury is located handily for a short walf from Strawberry Hill and Fullwell stations and is also serviced by a number of buses, including the 110 and H22. STREETMAP

On Friday, July 3rd, trains (32 mins) leaving waterloo at 18:13 18:35 18:43 and 19:05 will get you there in plenty of time.
The H22 bus runs from Hounslow every 12 to 15 minutes and the journey takes 15 minutes. The 110 runs every 20 minutes.

The club have really made an effort with this and I will be emailing the awaycrew list I have and putting it up on facebook. For those of us who can't make away games on a regular basis, this is an opportunity to get "our own pub" and I would urge you all to get down to the Bloomsbury on Friday 3rd July......

As the old saying goes......"use it or lose it"

Look forward to buying you a pint and chatting about stuff..............

I'll be the fat lad in a tee shirt and Barca cap. Laura H from Supporters Direct will be about that weekend and I've asked here to pop along as well.

That's great news! Fed up of trapsing round London to try and find a pub that will show League. Would also make a great change to watch some games with people who are interested, rather than the missus who seems to prefer reading the paper instead. Looks like a nice place...the CAMRA tag means real ale I'm guessing? Mmmmmm
