Gutterfax the only reason that Hector may be taken more serious, is his concerns for the future of the Skolars, who get praised for running a tight club on and off the field. Those who make decisions about the future of the game, are not interested in us keyboard warriors. Back after the end of Fulham, it was letters, even then no one was interested. I still claim the The RFL only ever show interest in London in words, never real actions.
It may end up the way The Penguin seems to predict, but no one really knows until everything is signed. There was silence with Bradford Bulls, and fans had out so much of their own money to keep that club going, The RFL seemed to pull out all stops with them, and in still not convinced, what us happening there. But what do we do, just because we don't know all the facts yet, do we go forward thinking everything will go wrong, anyone who feels that way may as well call it a day now, find another club or sport. Sheffield Eagles have no ground, Wakefield seem to have problems, everything does not seen to be perfect at Wakefield, but I'm sure there supporters go forward, with some hope, at least.
I stand by IF, against all odds now we fail, then I see no future for rugby league in London or the south. How do you sell the game, play rugby league at junior level, and move to the North, for a minor sport, that will never develop?
My glass is still half Full, but we have to see what happens, and how it works out. I'm not giving up yet.
