Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

It was not a pop at the OP so much, but it's very difficult to pin success or failure on one person (as he seems to say himself).

The RFL are getting a fair % of votes, they do carry the can for some of the faults, but can they be blamed for moving the club about, for the signings made etc etc. Can the owner be at fault for previous owners mistakes?

If you could rip up SL and start all over again, I'm sure there would have been more planning laid down for London to make the transition, as it did seem (along with various other expansion clubs) to be a bit of a kick and hope. I also think it would not have hurt to give them a rivalry more local than PSG etc etc.

I can still see London making a come back, although I do wonder whether the name London lacks that connect with a set group of Londoners.

Would Barnet Broncos or Tottenham Broncos, even Twickenham Broncos have created more of a brand loyalty? That really is a question for the supporters though not me.

I just think if someone took Saints and called it Lancashire or Mersey Saints, does it loose something from not being specific to where it is.
Chelsea, Tottenham FC's have fans from outside the area, but that local connect to me makes a club more than just a corporate business.

Who is to blame? Will playing a blame game fix anything? I think not.
Gutterfax, you have a multitude of solutions. I don't doubt your zeal. But the ability to consider other people's views and ideas isnt there and seems like a red rag to a bull judging by your rude responses ( all over the forum) which meander on and often slide into open abuse.
Bewareshadows thank you for your positve input.
London rely on support from a very large area beyond the City and Greater London.
If you check where fans travel from it gives a real insight into the untapped potential and marketability of the London Broncos.
In my humble opinion the future viability of Superleague depends on a successful well supported club in London.
I cannot see how London can field a strong side next year without, 1 a new structure running the club, 2, a lot of help from the RFL. 3 goodwill from other superleague clubs who could then end up below London. 4 We need players where will they come from?
If London Broncos were branded and marketed properly it would benefit the game as a whole just take a look at the talent emerging from the streets, Kieron Dixon, the youth team etc.
Licensed merchandising, media, sponsorship. Lots and lots of untapped potential to showcase the sport.
I have very little faith in the RFL Hierarchy, but perhaps Mr Wood could approach Dr Koukash about finding a backer for the Broncos in the south.
I do think the previous RFL chief who went to the LTA did a great job while here. Perhaps we could persuade former London Development Officer Rodger Draper back from the Tennis? Quite a drop in wages though!

The problem is most of us on here have been debating these issues for at least 10 years throughout various changes in stadia, names, owners, and we're quite close to losing the will to live now.....never mind think positively about the future.

Having been around during his previous stint with the Crusaders, I don't think that he's the answer.

sorry, but for over 10 years I have seen this coming and forgive me for being blunt, but the time for talk is over. The club is dead in the water and no amount of "what if's" or "wouldn't it be great if's" will make a blind bit of difference.
