IMO, the idea of a level playing field is a myth as far as professional sport is concerned.

The fact is that London already have preferential treatment and now are asking for more in the shape of extra Aussies and exemption from relegation to allow you to grow, tell me , how many more years of preferential treatment do you need till you can stand on your own two feet. Let's look at facts, the Bradford Club have been members since the split in 1895, but The RFL still had to buy their ground in 2012 to keep the club afloat! is that not preferential treatment?

To be pedantic, Bradford Football Club aka Bradford (Park Avenue) were members of the NRU in 1895. Bradford Bulls were formed when Bradford FC joined the FA.
