Forward thinking clubs like Brentford are realising that changing the shirt every year (for purely commerical reasons) is not good from the perspective of a sustainable environment. Also when clubs do change their main kit it is usually a minor styling change so fans can still wear an older shirt and be in a recognisable kit.



Changing your colours is likely to annoy at least some of your fans. Look at what happened when Cadiff City FC switched from their traditional blue to red in in a change 'designed to help the Championship club expand its appeal'.

Bottom line is it doesn’t really look like a Broncos shirt-badge issue aside. But they’ve done it and done it for reasons that have some merit. Now (working on the basis that the 2nd shirt will be red) if the 3rd shirt is AFCs away shirt then I’m out of excuses. As an aside I would have thought the black kit would work as an away kit as one of its USPs is its different as opposed to the blue/yellow.

BTW will the website be rebranded blue and yellow. Not sure it will..or should be.

Does the fact that the club are selling children size shirts mean that they are expecting to attract more families.

Children at games over the last few seasons have been few and far between, especially those that attend regularly.

Kids are less likely to want to watch a/their team being beaten regularly than their parents.

Finding positives in the sea of negativity that is the Broncos gets harder each year.

This season has the potential to be the last for the club and Hughes has set a target of 5k gates by the end of 2024. He fails to realise that it is during his tenure that we have shed the 4k fans needed and he has employed a member of staff who is alienating the few that remained.

A few years back there were regular updates on pre-season training with videos and player profiles....now all we get is we've added another sponsor from Hull to our shirt and half price shirts for Kids

Well they don't seem to have picked up on lt supposedly only 1 year. However say to me Black & White & I'd say Fulham or Newcastle. The Leeds change occurred when they were a nothing team in a nothing town. Only once in all white, did they taste success both at home & Europe & of course their scum fans do more than their fair share to get us banned from European football. Our success of finishing 2nd was in red, blue & yellow quarters & Challenge Cup final in red with bit of blue, yellow & white on sleeves so hardly comparable. The Cardiff change that fell flat has more going for it though. Pointless article really.

Proof if it were needed of the waffle that populates 90% of that rag and associated website, Preaching to the choir is what they do and they generally only ever tell them what they want to hear....., but this "article" was a comment on a shirt that nobody (150 tops) will buy.
