A few more reasoned posts towards the end of this thread.
Truth:
i. we were not at our best (we needed to be 18 points up not 4;
ii. Leeds are a very good side, especially when they get in front;
iii. they were near to full strength, we were not; and
iv. we beat them at home and they responded.
Lets enjoy Wakefield (I hope!)

I was certainly impressed by O'Callaghan playing at full back for the reserves against Leeds. Carried the ball forward really well. I don't know if wing is his preferred position but I don't have a problem with him being picked. Has done well when he has played for the first team. One for the future I reckon |

I am sure Brian will take the appropriate action. Melling was dropped and Willy will be too. J O'C is an excellent prospect and could fill in well. |

Think O'Callaghan looks a better bet at FB, remember him against Hull looking a few yards off the pace of Calderwood but would quite happily see him back in the team as he looks good with ball in hand. If we were going to get any where on Saturday then we needed to get a couple of scores or at least the first one in the second half, as it was we gave Leeds a try (and the game) on a plate. Still one bad result does not a bad team make, and I reckon we can get back on track this week, think some of our best showings have been on the road IMO. |

I'd be interested in knowing who will be available for Wakefield. I'd be concerned at having O'Callaghan playing in the side if Brough/Rooney are available. Neither played last week but both played the week before. |
