Yeah we are, but once you settle in London you are used to having everything at your finger tips. If its outside zone 2, its too far to travel is the opinion of most of the expats I know.

Lazy antipodean w@nkers the lot of them 8)
The Journey from The Bush to The Stoop takes 30 minutes on the 237 and changing to the 267. Why do people have such a downer on the location of the Stoop. True, it isn't built on top of the district line, but Clapham is 15 minutes away by train, ealing 1/2 an our by bus, as is chiswick, the bush, acton and putney.

Gutterfax :) ,,,,,,,,really must get you to understand a few things about ex-pat's

1 If we can get them to become 10% of the regular support it would be double the Oz regulars we had at The Cottage!

2. However, there is also problems with them 'visiting' the Stoop as they view it as being in the 'boondocks'

3. Still they will turnout for 'one' off games against NRL clubs and it would not surprise me if there were 2x the number of NRL fans on Sunday at the game compared to 'regular' QRL fans. If so you will get your 8000+ crowd

4. While will not disagree with your timings as regards 'travel' would remind you that you need to allow 'extra' for waiting time plus poor frequency on Sundays.......also the poor service to Twickers BR!!

5. As for Weather Underground, it's one of the best forward weather sites
and on Saturday they are forecasting.......forget it, you look it up.

:)

I live in Twickenham. Service is fine.
Manages to get 80k in and out of twickenham stadium 10 or so times a year with absolutely no problems.

firstly, why did they change their names? Pat's a really nice name 8)
seriously, I know that our anzac buddies like things at arms reach, but top quality sport for £15 a game, with cold beer, dancing girls and a live band has to be worth a bit of travel. I would very much like the club to continue the good work done by Ady with the walkabout in the Bush.....if wigan cheerleaders are sponsored by the wigan walk........about, then why the flip aren't we doing business with the local outlet?
I hope you are right regarding the 8k, but I believe 5 is more realistic.......

Wigan walkbout is in walking distance of the ground and in the town centre.
