Same can be said from my perch in AG.

Gotcha. :D

I stayed home and watched it on Sky.

Sky's money makes RL a full time professional sport. No sky money means its an amateur game with the sport retreating back to the M62.

Do you really want to put two fingers up to them? 8)

No but for the 12 home games or so that are not on SKY the club could revert back to using the LV stand. If fans really have to go to the East Stand when SKY are there then fine but that is no reason to give an inferior view for the other matches

I am sure it could be done, seats wouldn't be an issue but it seems you sit where you want anyway

So what is the solution to the East Stand having a poor atmosphere? The problem is not the stand itself but the people who are in it.

Agreed on the people but I think the main problem with the east stand is the fact it has been split into two. Anybody who sits in section AA and AB with away support around them there is no way you can hear the QRL crowd, believe me I have sat there for a few games this year (example le cats game when they only had a few supporters sat in AB). For those on "cheap" tickets and attending their first game the home experience is poor even when we have been winning. You have to consider tickets on a walk up basis appear to be issued for the last two sections AA & AB and anybody new to the ground will not know where most of the QRL fans sit. Consider also those teams who tend to bring a decent following have the advantage of the tin shed behind the posts which generates more noise then the East, which is due to structural design.

Last year in the lexus the crowd was mostly QRL and the atmosphere was much better.

However it is appears too late to solve the problem this year and needs to be addressed for next season.

The view was awful at times on Saturday, but that has always been a problem with the East Stand. Atmospehere is a subjective thing, I don't have a problem, I'll have a bit of a sing along, but repeated inane chants aren't my thing.

Its a good job some of you dont support the likes of Saints, Cas, Wakey, HKR, Salford and any other team with poor grounds

Ours is one of the best grounds in the comp- east or west stands

You are roght on this one but given the difference in view of the two stands surely the best bet is to open the one with the best view ?

When I arrived at Blocks AA/AB, I cannot say I was surprised that in at least 50% of the occupied seats were Leeds supporters having had a similar experience at my last visit to the Stoop. It is bad enough watching your team annihilated by the opposition without being ridiculed by the opposition’s supporters surrounding you.

Bloody hell, one of the reasons I love RL is the banter you can enjoy without getting your teeth kicked in!

Agreed, I was irritated into being forced into sitting at the other end of the stand :(
