Having started last season with a pulled together squad including academy kids, most of us Salford fans expected to be spanked severely every game, but it didn't quite turn out like that..ok, we still ended up bottom of the pile, but I got to say, for me personally, I enjoyed the season greatly as there were loads of positives..
Granted, we knew that the Doc was going to deliver a bit of depth to our pack and things could only improve, but witnessing the likes of Theo Fages and the Walne brothers coming of age and living with SL pressure was heart warming to say the least.
I truly hope that no matter what happens at the end of this campaign, your club rebuilds for the future and is instrumental in promoting the great game in the north of London
