Once we have no fans they won't need a strategy.

But, think everyone on here does agree that some marketting might help the club. But again its up to the club to decide what it can and cannot do.

The social media platorm post is interesting.
Surely if folk are looking at any broncos related social media then they know when and where games are taking place, and how to get tickets?

Yes they do, but the gates remain dire. As such either the message is wrong, the target audience is wrong, the message delivery system is wrong or your offering is wrong. (It may be a mixture of more than one.) Carrying on as is would be madness. As was recognised by the club when they brought in ticket offers.

The only other option is there is no longer a market for RL in London.

Or maybe there is no desire to watch an average Champ side at quite a cost. One of the best ways to help attracting fans is to do well on the pitch.

Maybe reach out to the fans you have alienated also

Re: Whithaven Home : Tue Jun 22, 2021 12:24 pm
I think the question has to be "what can they do to get people they have alienated back". They have lost the trust of a lot of people here.

lets assume 2021 is a blow out, and lets focus on 2022 and assume they are at PL for that season. Here are some of my idea's for 2022

Two levels of Season tickets :- 25 in main stand, and 15 to sit behind the sticks.
Over 65's / NHS workers:- 18 in main stand and 12 to sit behind the sticks
50% off for those who are also Wimbledon ST holders as well
first 2 under 16's free if at least one adult is in the party, £5 for each kid after first 2 free
Arranging parking with nearby schools (like we did at Brentford), charge £5 for parking pass per game

During the season target a couple of game for special offers (say games vs York / Newcastle), non RL people will have heard of those towns (unlike fev \ batley for instance)
Play womens game as a curtain raiser before the main game
Get the local schools in to play mini games at half time (we used to do this all the time, this got local schools involved, and the kids loved playing on the pitch for 15 mins)

I'm sure others have idea's here which could help, without getting into negatives on what is wrong right now (and no I don't expect the club to listen to any points I might raise)

They are decent ideas, and there are more that could be added BUT, the biggest problem.is that the club will take no notice.

Let's face it, the crowds we get now fit where we are. Mid table champ. We struggled to get decent crowds in SL, with a much better squad. Not sure what the club thought would change with the move. London's best kept secret

The club is on a one way street to oblivion and the master stroke seems to be another ground move. Anyone who thinks that will solve our problems is quite likely insane.

Don't think there is any likely about it. Expect Jack Nicholson at any minute.

In alienating hardcore fans the club created a vicious circle. RL is fundamentally an exciting sport but fans create the atmosphere. No fans means no atmosphere and even less people come back.
