Eh? It was the home game with Swinton (att. 1910), which may have been a Thursday night Premier Sports match, can't remember now - I'm just talking league games here, not league and Cup. The way things appear to be going, bringing in a village team 5 miles from Castleford and Wakefield is just what's going to happen. Unlike a lot of people I don't actually think Rimmer and Woods are incompetent, it's just that they have a very limited small town mindset that leaves them with an inability to see the broader picture.

I was referring to the NRC game against Leigh. Didn't realise they'd had a sub 2k crowd v Swinton as well

So, how will DH go about finding a replacement for Gus? Let's hope he doesn't use the same recruitment channel again.

There has to be a young hot-shot kicking his heels at a bigger SL club who we could borrow for 12 months? Someone who would relish the chance to make a name for themselves...
We are never going to be of interest to investors or sponsors whilst we stumble about on crowds of 2k at the foot of the table...what is needed is someone willing to work 16 hours a day 7 days a week, re-engage the fans and volunteers and get the community feel back into the club.

I swear to God....the damage that Gus has done to the club makes my blood boil.

Talking of sponsors, @SelcoSports on twitter seems to have given up on us. Plenty of tweets still coming about Birmingham Brummies speedway, but we've had no mention since before the CC SF at Leigh/Wigan.

Why did we not have the stadium sorted for the duration of the licence period in the first place. Prioritising a move was always a poor decision. It is hardly a surprise that the CEO has taken all season to do this. It is a convenient smokescreen to mask his lack of progress on what should have been more important issues.
