If anything crowds will be lower next year. This period must have upset a lot of fans, and if there's no new long term vision and plan to sell us then DH has no chance of getting southern based RL fans to the Hive in any great numbers
Will have to wait and see what is new next year. If the Broncos can continue in Superleague I'd be delighted. What kind of squad they can assemble will be interesting. Who gets employed in the backroom, to tackle media, marketing, merchandising, something sadly lacking in the past. How to attract supporters again and keep them ( engage them?), How to make supporters part of any new operation and get them involved. NK Pom hows it going? I look forward to attending some more games if it all comes off. Barnet by road is simple enough 182 mile round trip. I hope some of the old staff who are without work can be rehired. How to find a new investor and new money for the club, how to restart the youth development. If this doesn't happen no need to even start.
If the beakeven figure is crowds of 10,000 and DH is only paying the losses for one season as he is retiring, there has to be more to this. AK wont take on a loss making enterprise at the Hive as he is very tight with money and isnt a RL fan either.
He is starting to like it though:
TK: "I never really paid much attention to rugby league as, being from the south, you only ever see rugby union. "I was very impressed by it and it is a good sport."

was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

Agree! who gets 10K crowds in Super League every game, Hull, Leeds, Warrington, Wugan & St Helens, that is it! Bulls used to regularly but no longer!
Hull FC, Wigan, Leeds, Wire and St Helens you say? Now, without wishing to mickey on your cornflakes, would you care to list the clubs that either make a profit or break even in ESL? Wigan.....er Leeds....er Wire.......er Hull FC.......
10k average = a club that isn't looking over its shoulder or 100% reliant on a benefactor.
think you are talking about any sports club in the country! I doubt if there are many football clubs that are that profitable, and no way are the RU clubs so why should RL be any different
Goodness how on earth are the very sensible folk who don't come on here going to find out what is happening! Well as we already know when the games are going to be played, that was something that did not rely on this forum, but the RL press media and other outlets. Quite possibly they are not all as obsessed as us on here in how the club should be run, by who, and where, and are happy to be told that we have a team and we will play our home games at wherever we will play. They will find that out by the way they found out when our games are. And you never know when the decisions have been made the t's crossed the i's dotted and the deal is done an announcement might be made and they might even market the club in whatever way they wish

Wigan (14,545), Wire (10,663), Leeds (15,197), Hull FC (11,680) and St Helens (11,345) are all break even/profitable entity's......the rest (sub 9k) aren't! If 10k isn't the break even figure then it's doing a pretty good impersonation of it

Quite right. 5,898 followers on facebook ...no, really 8,279 followers on twitter and about 600 season ticket holders from 2013.....we'll be fine
