Just an observation on your posts today. I am quite positive about the season as it happens but primarily because we will hopefully see some competitive games which have been sadly lacking in recent seasons.

gotnofax likes the sparring we all know he is Gus's love child really. Its called having a bit of fun sometimes, and quite nice that we have not had to resort to emergency swearing think it was suggested it was banter a while back.
The daft thing is we all know its been poop, and its rubbish that we are where we are, but you have to get on with it don't you and look to the future.
I actually think this season will be quite fun until we get to the stressfull end of the season, I still think their will be a surprise or two at the end of the season, but that's my opinion, other folk think different, I just hope I am the one proven right in Sept.

Billy calls people moonies. I on the other hand below each to their own and regardless of your preference, the mind numbing stats put me in the majority. As usual, because it doesn't sit with your agenda, you deride me......and you wonder why the greater public have a stereotypical view of shoulder chipped flat cap wearing, whippet racing northern rl fans.

Gutterfax

I have always supported most of the points you make in your posts. I also find your stats a telling and sad indictment of how the club has been run. No-one on this site would argue about your views about Gus. As to David Hughes, whilst many would agree he has made some appalling decisions your attacks are way over the top. Even if the club was achieving 4-5k attendances a week, they would need financial support and you cannot criticise David's support of the club.

HOWEVER, I am getting fed up of every thread turning into the same rant? And I use the word carefully - every thread is exactly the same. I think you and Micky etc should take your personal insults off line, it's boring. Also as someone born in Hull, and a season ticket holder at FC for 20 years I resent being called a flat cap, flat earth, whippet loving...... I dislike the North for its weather and some of the people are narrow minded, but I suspect no more than in the south! Many are broad minded and want London to succeed.

I am looking forward to next season, because we should/ will win a few games. After the last 3 years that's a bonus. If that makes me a stooopid moron, then I accept the charge. I realise we are playing at a lower level, realise that the wins will not be as valuable as beatin SL teams - but hey ho my expectations have lowered.

So why not give the Gus, David H, we're doomed, the past 3/5 years, a rest - it's boring

I took a 3 month voluntary break from this forum Las year and other than one initial thread about everyone's favourite game (an off season topic mid season) there was more action on the skolars forum on here.

I accept I am repetitive, but as I have already asked, is it wrong to question the clubs stated aim when that is the thread topic
Hughes is in charge still and very little has changed.......thats all I am saying.

As for flat caps......it wasn't directed at you, but if it fits.

Brian, i accept the point gutters likes reacting to my posts and I do like baiting him a little bit. I do try my best to stay away from insulting anyone, being a born and bred northerner myself am pretty impressed with your dedication to the FC cause I FWIW am a York fan through and through so used to supporting lower league teams. In my view the wins will be just as valuable as its the only way we will get back into SL. I actually think the hard thing is staying back up there when and if we get there.
