Not really.
Good sales people are often narcissists as are some bad ones pretending to be good. A trait of such people is that they like to be praised and take criticism badly and over the years it has become apparent that some people have manged to gain and retain employment at the club for which they were in no way qualified for by massaging Mr Hughes ego.
Mr Hughes is quoted in A PASTEL REVOLUTION as being in favour of the broncos and charlton being a sporting club and that this idea was shot down by the football side.....I can think of 2 employees who might have played on this when touting moves to football clubs.....as in
"You were right at Charlton Sir. This could be your chance to show everyone how right you were"
