The MD has come in half way through the season so I suspect this sesaon is now a write off(just a thought, not from experience)

Are there any quick wins?

Fair enough, I guess I cannot argue with that but as I said its not about me. Its about the other missing thousands and we all know the problem still exists and is not being addressed.

Why, do you want to come.

The fundraising is geared around Speedway GP's being on the TV. The people who come are speedway fans, generally about 100 or so and these happen 10 times per year

I could of course have a chat with the FIM and see if on Quins home match days they wouldn't mind changing them

On the other hand why I have them on Saturdays is not anybody elses business

For goodness sake, its happens 400 yards from my house which is about 60 miles closer than Quins, happens at 6pm although preparation starts at 3pm and its a worldwide sport which is dictated to in terms of timing by TV. Its completely irrelevant.

The 10 BBQ's we do are meetings from countries other than the UK.

Maybe I could send you my wekly Saturday itinary and you can examine my private life a bit further and see whether you approve of my movements

You are still ignoring the issue which is not me but the shocking crowds and the fact that nothing is being done. Still I bet its far more exiting worrying about what I do on a Saturday

At Gp's, an average of 20,000 at each event, at the British GP at Cardiff, around 45,000

There are of course 3 leagues of speedway in the UK, 9 in the top flight, 14 in the 2nd Division and 10 in the 3rd level and do you know what ?

Not one of them chooses to ride their meetings at the same time as other more popular sporting events in the same city

Average crowds at a league meeting, anything from 4000 to 800 ! Each club rides at home every week. When we had speedway in Oxford it NEVER rode at the same time as Oxford United

Oh dear you are struggling to get it aren't you ?

Speedway is not consciously choosing to compete with other sporting events in the same city at the same time

In fact I cannot think of another sport that does
