was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

So it's Gus fault Broncos fans can't / can't be bothered turning up to support their team ? Grow up.
It's Gus's fault that all he will doing the way of promoting this game is tweetbook it and email us....the Challenge Cup game represents a perfect opportunity to introduce "new" fans to the game with a decent chance of a win.....
402 in 2011 and 652 in 2012....these are the 2 lowest crowds I can find for home London games in the SL era......both on his watch....the only 2 home games I can find in 18 years where there were less than 4 figures in the crowd.....
It's his job to make the fans "bothered"...it was his #1 priority before he realised he was poop at it so made the name change his #1 priority....now finding a new home is his #1 priority......his real priority is finding ways to hang on to his Job.
Try to defend him again if you must PC Plum....the facts, statistics and average attendances are indefensible.
GF. You're now starting to sound like Dally Messenger or eels fan with the "You are Defending Gus" spin. Making it very "you're with me or against me". Which simply isn't true.
Thing is, I can't think of anyone who has comes on here defending Gus or are happy with club events. Hands up if you do. But just because someone gets fed up with your constant attacks on the club, on him or disagrees with you on a matter, or offers up a potential alternative explanation, does not mean they DEFEND GUS.
It's about the club. Everyone cares about that. People in the past have supported you and agreed with you on many, many things. Myself included. But when on nearly every single thread you post on these days, there's constant jibes, attacks and personal attacks on the club, and its staff, may have contributed to people being less interested in what you have to say. Myself included there also.
Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 - Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader. Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward. Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I? Update on Quins Mogs :- Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo. Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas. Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9. Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.

It's nothing like that....read my signature for an example of their work...I am simply stating FACTS....

I think you'll find PC Plum said...

...to me, this is another way of saying it's not Gus's fault. Sorry, but it is. He has had the 9 of the 10lowest attendances of all time on his watch....whose fault is it if not the guy tasked with increasing crowds?

So basically, you're saying that there's no point in highlighting the failures of the CEO because weall already know than and nothing's going to change? Tell you what......something has changed.....lessand less people attend London Broncos RL games at every turn.......I seriously doubt that their will be a team in SL come the 2015 Season...but hey ho,let's all stay quiet and let the club be destoyed

Well said Boosty...personally, I am sick to death of reading the constant attacks on the club and it's staff.
The personal stuff directed at the CEO is way over the top and tbh, the ganging up of grown men on here is akin to bullies in the playground, imo.
The stuff written about Gus isn't personal....I have said he's probably a really nice bloke, but professionally, he's killing the club. I am not "ganging up" on anyone....I have always called it as I've seen it and spoken from the heart...it just so happens that the current CEO is overseeing the darkest and most unprofessional period in the SL Clubs lifetime.

Perhaps his tenure coincides with the collective previous incompetence/poor decsions from the likes of Rea, Brown, Lenagan, Hogg, Hughes, Blanchard, Powell, et al ?
As RB states, this is not a case of being pro GF or Gus, like you, I see the many issues.
And whilst you are looking for someone to blame, here's a couple of others. Elmbridge Eagles are running their annual festival for Minis / Juniors on morning of the St Helens games ..... starting up at 11am and involving hundreds of players and officials, many of whom normally watch the Broncos. I understand Staines are doing a similar thing. The Army Navy game has pushed the Saints kick off time back to 1pm. I will leave you to work out the impact, but nothing to do with Gus.
Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently. Rosa Luxemburg, 'Die russiche Revolution'.

You're forgetting I was mod of that board for a while. If you didn't agree with them you were clearly a Union lover or League hater. Very black and white. A bit like, if people don't agree with everything you say, we must be defending Gus or are apologists.

Fine. I'm sure the stuff being served on the pitch may have some contribution as to why people didn't renew their season tickets over the last few years though. But if it's simply all Gus's fault. Fine.

Am I saying that? Am I? Really? Where? Or is it your interpretation? Very black and white thinking again and a very predictable reply. We know the failings. You post them everyday. We know. We all don't feel the need to post on this forum very often indeed about how bad an individual is at the club.

Sorry GF. Anyone that comes on here intimating our CEO cops it up the gary from Quins or suggests we are to visualise him gobbling off the boss. Really? I'm wondering what you deem is personal then? Here's a reminder of only two of your NON-personal comments.
As I said. The way you post and the repetitive content, some of which has contained abuse, has had myself and maybe others losing compassion for your arguments or indeed the motivation to support what you say. All this despite our despair for the club. You used to make sense, we used to listen, sit back and realise. But lately it's become some sort of mission above all others for you. If Gus gets the old tin tack, we all hope his replacement can turn things around. But it won't be on the back of your tirades. Still, at least we won't have to hear how you're not answering his calls again. And I fear for the next CEO.

Surely all Bronquins CEO's have been as ineffective as the current one? After all, none of them were able to convince Gutters to stump up the money for a season ticket.
