The problem is this, Wigan will get to go through their exact game day prep for a HOME game whilst London will go through their AWAY game prep (hotels, travel etc). Wigan don't need the extra help from the RFL but unfortunately there is no integrity at Red Hall. They will claim its in the best interests of the sport to put on a full house for TV but then what use is that when Wigan rattle up a cricket score (in probability, sorry London fans).
We have an outstanding product on the pitch and a 'pop up store' mentality running it off the field.
The RFL will be happy to see London go now and claim they have helped you over the years but in reality they should have thrown a shed load of money at London (and no I don't think they have) to give you a chance but then again Brian McDermott said the same on his return to Leeds and the powers that be just don't get it.
Best of luck in the semi from a KR fan.
Good post sir.
Anyway, moving forward, what are people doing for this? Reasonably priced rail fares to Manchester seem to be tricky to come by so tempted to drive up and stay over somewhere. But then Leigh doesn't seem to be a great place for hotels...!
