Cool, so if your reliable source proves inaccurate, will you apologise for getting it wrong ?

But that is the point, his reliable source does not appear to claim that Broncos will be homeless, only that the Hive are not interested in Broncos staying on the same terms as this year. It is an embellishment by GF. I suggest he goes back to his source and gets some clarification.

GF - Did your source say Broncos have no choice but to leave the Hive at the end of the season?

So what are you saying? The Broncos wont be playing at the Hive in 2015 or the Hive dont want us to play there but we will be playing there?

Is English not your first language?
Not sure if the speed at which I type is a problem for you, but here we go AGAIN:

.....the ....hive..... aren't..... interested...... in..... the..... year...... 2.... option... in.... regards.... to....... the...... broncos..... in..... 2015......

Now, this can mean any number of things, one of which is the club having to move again. It also means that we may stay and pay rent, although if the £250k or so in ticket revenue as well as the residual income from bars etc and not forgetting the RFL "stipend" of a Marketing Budget for him to spend..... that our Partner/landlord/potential owner (select what makes you feel warm and fuzzy) has reaped this year isn't enough for him, it does mean we could end up paying more for the Hive than the Stoop was costing us. (£222,244 was the match day costs entered on the 2012 P&L accounts compiled by the supreme African Ball Dropper.....a document sent to me by my imaginary friend BTW)

What happens depends on Hughes and his preparedness to support the club next year and into the future. We get £900,000 or so next year from SKY and the rumoured cap for SL2/The Championship is £1,200,000 so I suspect to "COMPETE" with the top tier of that group, we need to turn over in excess of £2,500,000......I can tell you now that without Hughes propping us up, we have NEVER come within £400,000 of that number...and that was with a damn sight more fans and associated income.

At £20 a ticket (and let's face it, this is championship RL we are talking about.....will we get that much?) and based on 11 home games and then (if we make the middle 8) 4 more home ties, that would require an average attendance of 5,333 after you take the £900,000 parachute payment away from the £2,500,000.

Now, call me a pessimist and no disrespect to the good folk from Fax, Fev and Leigh, but not a snowballs.......not even close. The REALITY is that we will be lucky to get 10% of that required average.....we currently get 21% of it. No sponsors (nor investors) will be interested in a lower tier club, so the shortfall will need to come from an Owner........as the trap door is effectively shutting on us in respect of P&R it will only be down to how guilty Hughes feels for the mess he has created. I believe I have already covered my thoughts on this mess in previous threads :D .

So, as I said in the first post.....the Hive aren't into the 2nd year option as hastily arranged by Blake Solly at the 11th hour.

They say you reap what you sew and this looks like being a bumper harvest

Hey, lay off him! I think he speaks Sentellins so leave the gratuitous insults to any wiginners around here.

I think he’s just finding it difficult to square the phrase “Homeless in 2015” with “We may stay put and pay rent”. Classing renters as homeless is a wacky idea, even for this forum. It’s not the language he has a problem with, it’s the logic.

By the way if you reap what you sew does that mean your garden is overgrown with cardies? CHEERS

Given one of the things that may occur as a result of the Hive not wanting to have the year 2 option is that we may have to leave, connecting the headline to the "rumoured" problem shouldn't prove too troublesome....even for a northerner

yes.,..along with some nice tank-tops and little blue mittens 8)

Patently the 2014 agreement was a "darned" "stitch up". Solly pulled the "wool" over all of our eyes as he has "designs" on a better job with Knock-down Nigel. Surprised it's taken you this long to "cotton on"

...have i done enough to deflect from my basic spelling error :CURTAIN:

Thanks joeo, at least someone gets me !!! I guess if I had presented my last statement in 5 paragraphs laiden with fact after fact then GF might have got it.

Its the logic I have an issue with. Your topic title 'Homeless in 2015', wouldnt you say thats rather sensationalist ? As we drill down into the basis of this, referencing your relaible source, there appears to be nothing that gives the headline any credance.

Or has this narrow minded fool :D missed something ?

The hive don't want us with a guaranteed 250k + residuals + marketing bribe. What chance 2015?
Good luck removing your head from where it is currently stuck.......

I'm not going to go over your claims for this season again as the investment to allow Broncos to play at the hive is evident to most, but what has these got to do with next season?

The issue is the available revenue this year isn't going to be there next year. The average home fan is paying under £15 when you factor memberships, concessions and kids. With the away fans all but disappearing then the income to the Hive for Broncos staying will drop significantly. My guess is that TK has done the maths and decided the margin next season is too tight to be viable using the current model.
