feel free to find the post where I said they hadn't?
You were the one saying that the rent had been upped and you were the one decrying anyone who asked for proof.

The Fact remains that the current CEO has spent more time planning and executing a name change that achieved nothing and even more time on looking for anywhere other than Twickenham for us to play than he has attracting either fans or new investors to the 26 games played at "home" on his watch.

I repeat, I suspect the 2014 deal is already done and as such, the attendances in 2013 will have no influence on the RFL in 2014 when it comes to licencing, as the club will say that "Gillingham" will give us 5k gates within 3 years.......by which time Gus will have stolen another 2 years salary and then buggered off back to cricket.

I can see this, as most other supporters of the club that I have spoken to can...it seems that only the RFL and David Hughes are oblivious to the impending car crash the club are heading for.

The real shame is that TR may well get this team into the top half of the table and fans may well start to drift back, only for them club to move AGAIN at the end of the season

I assume Gus would do the decent thing and resign at that point.

His CV is going to take a pounding if he doesn't turn things around at the club.....binned by Surrey after overseeing a drop in average attendances for T20 (same total for 8 games as 5 the year before...38% drop in 2 years) 5,000 empty seats on day 1 of a test match.

It does seem he is a "marmite" character...:

Zimbabwean Mackay arrived in October 2008 via administrative jobs at Leicestershire and Sussex, and generally lived up to an abrasive reputation.

The role of MD was created to bind together the professional and recreational games in the county but a brusque manner and obsession with secrecy meant he made enemies quickly and friends slowly, hardly ideal in encouraging people from different parts of the game to work together.

Mackay was criticised for spending too much time around the first team and went some way to addressing that this year.

As at his previous two clubs, there are those who feel he made a positive contribution but the exit of a man who always seemed in a hurry to get things done is unlikely to be widely mourned, particularly among the playing staff.

Hmm......I doubt you'll see him do the decent thing

I see that West Ham are being given the keys, again, to the Olympic Stadium and Barry Hearn said today he'll fight it but realises he's probably lost. He also said that in that case he would look to sell Brisbane Road and move out further east or up to Harlow.
Wonder how much he'd want for Brisbane Road? Shall we have a whip round? And who cares if the pitch is too short? ;-)

Heard him on Talk Sport. Says they should let him move to the Olympic Stadium on a share basis as West Ham moving there will kill Orient. Im not sure how moving into the same stadium will be an improvement? How near does he want to be to them?
