Firstly I'm not best pleased with the relocation of the fixture but I doubt we've been left with much alternative at short notice. With Easter football fixtures those grounds would be unlikely, Sarries as Willow6666 has pointed out is only for 16 fixtures and 2 events (both of which are already planned no doubt).
The pitch was in a dreadful condition on Saturday and the longer it is left to recover the better. I think I would rather the pitch was protected with the opportunity of ensuring the Bradford game isn't moved from the Stoop than for protecting a game that quite frankly doesn't end up with a massive crowd.
I don't see how we could just move it to another weekend as if there are dates available for both us and Catalan just to slot in. We might not have a barnstorming run in the Challenge Cup but Catalan may have. There are two teams you need to consider here.
I can't see the Exiles weekend being ideal either as both clubs could have players selected.
And I doubt the RFL will allow any league games beyond the final round already set, given the playoffs and World Cup schedule.
However a chance to visit the former home of Surreyheath ARLFC again and if it upsets John Inverdale even a little it could make my weekend.
