I will never make accusations against such as The RFL, which some here don't seem to like, unless I am aware of facts. I have had eye of a document sent out prior to the RFL AGS on Wednesday 9th October "Policy ReviewWhole Sport Solution" and it reads more like an edict from CEO Nigel Woods.
Talking about changes to the salary cap to retain star players, which I support, but I am strongly against sharing costly Academy Teams and reducing the league to ten clubs, yes it may be supported by the likes of Wigan, Warrington, Leeds and St Helens, a real were all right jack attitude. The academy system was supposed to be the way to develop players of a higher standard in preparation for signing professional, not limiting it to select clubs.
With regards the 12 team two league Super League with straight promotion & relegation, it is said it is not a serious option, so Nigel gets his way with 12 team leagues playing 23 games and then breaking into three leagues?
It is clear it is a strict No to Super League Clubs forming a Premiership status (I thought they had Super League Europe) Nigel wants all the power, which he will get offering little carrots to the lower leagues to back him.
Nigel has also had enough of having to intervene or bail out clubs, and what is a total joke, find owners for ailing Super League Clubs.
The RFL should be there to administrate rugby league as a body, such as finding sponsorship, if they had done that proper there would be money to support Academy Teams for all Super League Clubs for example. I feel there must be some very weak club chairman these days that have allowed those who run the game on their behalf to run down the game as they have done.
The RFL seem to do a reasonable job of making a profit and running the big games/comps these days. OT sells out every year, Wembley does ok, Magic does ok, World Cup selling well.
The fact that some of our clubs are run so horrifically badly is not their fault.
By the way,Harrow Council have instructed Barnet FC to demolish their stand and take down their floodlights at The Hive, they now have six months to comply. What is wrong with the residents & council, they seem to be acting as if it is a stadium that holds 50,000 plus and causes mayhem on match days.

That is your opinion, Is the emphasis on reasonable? profits have gone down due to lack of sponsorship, Wembley & Magic does okay, but if it was a school report, it would read could do better! and the World Cup selling well, lets wait and see! one major game this season the RFL said a certain number of tickets had been sold, meaning there were limited numbers left, and after the match the attendance was lower than the number they claimed had been initially sold!
What about major sponsors, does that come under your reasonable heading, as I don't see it that way.

Sponsorship is obviously an issue. But, otherwise, I, think, they, do, ok. The, biggest, problem, is, the, appallingly, run, clubs, like, London, Wakefield, Bradford. (,).

I think you can add to that Castleford at the very least, there are really only four top clubs!
