Sorry, but if the purse strings are still held by the same people how the love does anyone expect anything to change? We have moved and failed 4 times and now (if reports are correct) we are moving into a ground that the immediate residents resent and therefore will have to work extremely hard to get any "local" buy in with regard to new fans.
I pray that either Ian Lenagan or even the RFL have a stake in the "new" beginning because I fear that 2014 will be done on a budget and for the last 18 years the first thing to get overlooked is the marketing and promotion.
The last time I heard anything about DH continuing with investment was that it would be at a "reduced level" so I sincerely hope that he has a partner who understands that sticking posts on the ground isn't a marketing policy.
Hate to come across all negative, but I really see little to be happy about in this "story" regarding the hive, loan players and Sean long being our head coach. Anyone remember the hope and expectation when we were heading into the 2006 season? Compare it to now and tell me how the current situation is anything other than a loving fiasco!
