Lord, don't ask me Snoops, I was spouting what a great player Mark Carroll was... and then he went to London. On the flip side I wouldn't necessarily have recommended the hooker of the North Sydney Bears who were getting smashed week in week out in 2003 & 04 (in reserve grade) and finished bottom. He tried his luck in the UK with halifax. He ended up in Super League and then was our assistant coach last year! So I never comment on players as you never know how they'll turn out over there.

We have made some good signings from this part of the world. Considering the window was almost closed and missed out on a few also. All things considered, with the position we were in, we have come up with some decent players considering all the scrambling that has had to go in the background.

What I think will be interesting will be to see who Manly will sign as they have publicly declared they want a prop after Richie Fao'oso's retirement. ie a top team with money and no restrictions.

3 Appearances for St George in the last 2 NRL seasons. He was with the Storm before that IIRC. He made his debut in the NRL in 2009 with the sharks, dropped of any radars I can find in 2010, was back in 2011 and has made 22 first grade appearances over 5 years.
Strikes me as a player struggling to make the grade at the highest level......but then again, he might be just the type of player we need.

Top info! Cheers GF! Agree, perhaps getting in players wanting to prove their ability could be great for us.

IIRC - LOL

wikipedia you gotta love it.

James Maloney was a player also struggling to make it at the highest level until the North Sydney network kicked in and Ivan Cleary gave him a chance at the Warriors.

Actually, no. I have been reading up on the NRL and looking into a load of historical data in regards to the players available to sign for the coming season.....

I stand corrected, It's not wikipedia you remembered the details from.

Please don't say you have anything to do with recruiting LOL

Well i wish Jake Leary could get here pronto. How long can these immigration people keep making excuses for keeping these visa applications in their tray? If we are in negotiations with other players now the season will be half over before they get here.

Good interview. Clearly they're ignoring all the doommungers which is good. I do wish those players they are expecting were announced as having arrived today and playing on the weekend
