To have some players who may be able to deliver, jobs can be arranged, if people have contacts! It's the younger players who may have some problems at first, but other part part time clubs survive, okay London is not going to be as easy.

Its not going to be easy for Broncos traveling up North every other weekend now they are part time (same as Skolars). Lets hope they do not get to many Monday night games.

Hughes should be insisting on NO Monday night games now both home & away.

I suspect that won’t work but if he wants to do that he should so clearly now not leave until 5 minutes before the game thus incurring lost points compensation and a loss awarded against us.
It an interesting point - I don’t know much about many jobs so they may be more flexible but if Will Lovell is a teacher I’d assume he have to be clear on his availability - certain evenings for training might mean an early finish for him - not sure he could say “and I might need the odd Monday off.”...but who knows.

When a central TV deal is agreed it's usually a condition of competition membership that you move games (probably with limits on game numbers) if TV requests.

Entering the FA Cup carries the condition you must move any games requested by TV, starting with the First Round Proper.

However, I doubt any northern part time team will be too happy to travel south on a Monday, likewise us going north. Throw in the fact that Monday games could disuade London's more distant fans from buying / renewing season tickets and it might be worth the club raising the issue and letting fans know exactly what the rules they are subject too are.

As for Will, hopefully any Monday away games will be in his holidays or he's going to missing Monday away games. For many years the Post Office had a very good representative football team, many top non league players were postie's as the early knock off allowed them to travel to away games. These days a lot are self employed PT instructors, nutritionist and so on, again to permit easy time off work when required.

Doesnt matter. Once he sees us getting spanked by Whitehaven at home by 70 points he'll walk.....it's only a matter of time now.

Life is only a matter of time. Getting spanked by whoever is just an additional complication.

I saw a tweet to Halifax supporters today informing them of the names of the 16 players they have signed for the 2022 season. Thats only 15 more than we have signed.

Thought Mustard said we'd signed a few, it's just a secret for the moment or he can't read their handwriting. :)

As is said, Australian visas are waiting to be confirmed, still a month until training starts again!
