Who is the charity please? who is the money aimed at? sorry have to ask, but do not all the home owners who lost everything have insurance?

Sorry to be a party pooper, and dont want to make light of what was a terrible situation but i would prefer to support things closer to home

fully agree with the sentiment on the sad deaths
All I am asking is what exactly is the collection for? you cannot replace a life by donating cash!
I have no problems with charity collections but what, and who is it going to?

Yes I will respect the 2 mins silence on Sunday for those that lost there lives.

We are not collecting cash we are collecting buckets- its a bucket collection

Could be a massive embarrassment as only 1 volunteer has come forward to go round and do a collection. Plenty people thought it should be done. The club approached the RFL for permission and then no one comes forward to help. (I know a lot of people are tied up with other voluntary jobs but I thought Lister and his pals and a few others would have come forward. I know this is a voluntary thing to do and people are busy with other things like getting friends and family to the match and having a great time. But as this is a one off and such a great cause is there anyone who can help even thirty minute shifts would be helpful. The collection is due to take place between 1 pm and 2.45pm.
