We are obviously keen for as much support for this initiative as possible. As you will see from the details below there are benefits and depending upon your choice of player your outlay may not be too large!! In any event no money is needed up front.

Try Sponsorship Form 2009
(all proceeds to Quins Rugby League Youth policy)

2009 sees the return of this popular fund-raising scheme. Run by the supporters on behalf of Harlequins Rugby League, the try sponsorship scheme previously raised over £9,000 for the Club.

Show your support for the Quins by choosing to either sponsor all of the tries scored by the team at the Twickenham Stoop or each try scored by your favourite player. Please see below for details.


Option 1) Sponsor all Harlequins tries scored at the Twickenham Stoop: For only £1 per try you can sponsor every Super League try scored by Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop this season. As a guide Harlequins scored 58 “home” tries in 2008. Each sponsor will receive season-long recognition in the matchday programme and a colour photograph signed by your favourite Quins player.

Option 2) Sponsor your favourite player’s tries: You can sponsor the player of your choice for each Super League try he scores for Harlequins this season. Every sponsor will receive season-long recognition in the matchday programme and a splendid colour photograph signed by the sponsored player. The player sponsorship options are:

£3 per try for the following players:- Tony Clubb, Luke Dorn, Matt Gafa, Luke Gale, Mat Gardner, David Howell, Luke May, Chris Melling, Mick Nanyn, Danny Orr, Will Sharp and Jon Wells.

£6 per try for the following players:- Jason Golden, Jonny Grayshon, Gareth Haggerty, Ben Kaye, Joe Mbu, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Rob Purdham, Chad Randall, Chad Robinson and Luke Williamson.

£10 per try for the following players:- Daniel Heckenberg, Karl Temata, Danny Ward and Dave Williams.


Your sponsorship payment can be spread over the season, with the first amount falling due in June, with the balance due in October 2009. A notification will be sent by post.
