I'm staying in central london next week (bayswater) and was wanting to know the best way to the stoop via the tube, any suggestions helpful hints most welcome thxs in advance.

From Bayswater, go to Paddington (probably walkable) or on District Line, Bakerloo line to Waterloo and overground service to Twickenham.

Or

Distrct line to Earls Court, change to go to Richmond, go to Richmond rail station and get train to Twickenham, have a few beers in Richmond or just walk from there.

Twickenham is in zone 5, so bear this in mind if buying a Travel Card (1-6 is £7.50).
