We must win on Saturday : Thu Apr 02, 2009 9:30 am
Imagine it! being out sung by the Huddersfield travelling massive. Unthinkable isn't it? They have already sold 500 tickets so we will need to be in our best voices on Saturday. I am sure that with our best performance we can see off the Fartowners and get our Oyster cards charged for the short trip to Wembley. Strepsils at the ready!

Hudds Examiner

GIANTS coach Nathan Brown believes the fans will have a massive role to play in helping his side secure a Carnegie Challenge Cup fourth-round victory at Harlequins on Saturday (3.00).

With admission free for season-ticket holders, Huddersfield are hopeful of attracting at least 1,000 fans for the trip to The Stoop.

As well as many supporters travelling independently, five coaches have already been filled, while tickets are now being collected in big numbers on a daily basis.

And Brown can’t wait to sample the Cup-tie atmosphere.

“I’ve made no secret of how much I love the crowds over here and the atmosphere they can generate,” said Brown.

“Our fans at Wigan last Friday were absolutely fantastic, and there were times when they were clearly out-shouting those from Wigan. We all really appreciated it.

Now, don't get me wrong. All of those that travel are welcome, but to take:

as, WE ARE BRINGING 1,000 is a little bit much.
5 coaches is 250 max......or if they are double deckers, 350, but 1,000.....let's see shall we.
If you really fancy it, Paddock Punter likes taking candy from a baby
Reminds me PP...must settle that wager.

selective quoting from both parties - the figure was 'approx 750' yesterday. So add another 2 days collections to that and then subtract those who decide not to bother after collecting a ticket.

I won't be far off. They aren't hopeful of 5,500 people (total number of ST holders) after all.
