Nice item in the sports section on our old stamping ground at Chiswick - it's certainly changed a bit since out time and I had a good chuckle at the concrete horror of a stand now being Grade 2 listed (have they done anything about the nasty bulges the dressing rooms' walls?). Anyone thought about putting an NL3 side in there?

No - intially I was as suprised as you, but then it occurred to me that it means that it probably means that the sports ground is now safe from developers, which could be the reason behind this.

The listing would not save the stadium only the stand (unless the listing applies to the stadium as a whole), good example of this would be Highbury, where the shell of the 'East?' well one of them has been retained as part of the re-development.

Mind you it could have an unfortunate accident then all bets are off, it has been known.
