Even in their amazing record of making ridiculous decisions having Ganson doing this game is asking for trouble. Whatever Ganson does in the game he'll cop it big time - Wigan fans will accuse him of being biased towards his home town team, Saints fans will accuse him of favouring Wigan so as not to appear biased towards his home town team!

As for him not caring about the consequences , I don't think he's been back to The Stoop since being roundly verbally abused after the Saints game last year (primarily by some bald bloke living in Wiltshire who should know better).

As for Alibert, does anyone know if he's refereed the Dragons in any game other than against us? Don't get me wrong, we shouldn't have got anywhere close to a 4 point loss, but I can't see him being allowed to take on a Dragons game against Wigan, Saints et al.
