Wakefield fun bus...June 28th. : Wed May 20, 2009 11:41 am
Hi there,

It would seem that all is not well at Trinity, with (according to The Sun) 2 players suspended for drinking during the bus journey on the way back after last weeks game....tut tut!

So, with the Wildcats suffering a blip and the Mighty Harlequins Rugby League marching up the table it would seem a good time run a bus trip.

£20 is the price and we will need 60 to make it happen, so if you can, bring as many friends as possible we will have a better chance of making this happen.

Remember, the players commented on how good it was to see so many of us in Wales, so let's try to replicate that.

As Sky may well move this game, please do not send any cheques just yet, simply email me the number of seats you need together with your preferred start point TW2 or M1.

Once I know Murdoch isn't going to move the game, I will forward payment instructions.

Provisionally we are looking at 10.30am set off from the Stoop, with 1 pick up/drop off point on the M1 (tbc). I would think we will set off from Wakefield at 6.00pm with an eta of 9.30pm back at the stoop.
Many Thanks
Barney

P.S. Bradford and Warrington bus trips are being looked into, but let's get this one filled first!

Catalans at Castleford that afternoon. Can we add an off-site tear-up to the afternoon schedule?

You reckon you can get to The Stoop from Wakefield in 3.5 hours on a coach? No chance.

And that rules me out

Agreed, can't it leave earlier to be sure? 9:30 or 10am?

From the bottom of the M1 to Sheffield it takes 3 hours on a coach, pretty much exactly. So I reckon allow 4.5 hours or so from The Stoop including a stop.

Think this fixture clashes with a gig I'm going too.
