If we could afford him and Orr was out of contract - definitely. Arguably still the best british SH and would improve our team hugely - especially with his kicking game. Maybe take us to a GF after all.
2 years from now we will probably have young SH ready to take over

Long wants a 2 year contract - if Saints reckoned that he was still good for those 2 years they'd have given him one. We've once again got the rather pathetic sight of a great player unable to come to terms with the fact that he's reaching the end of the road playing wise and it's now time to move on to pastures new.
