Keith 'old man' Senior : Fri May 22, 2009 9:32 am
I see that Sky Sports has finally come to the conclusion that Senior is an old man

Keith Senior has signed a new contract with Leeds that will see him remain at Headingley until the end of the 2010 campaign.

The veteran centre joined the Rhinos from Sheffield Eagles a century ago

Not only do they need to replace him but they need a centre for the other side.

Gafa and Howell had a field day at Leeds.

I know I may be slightly bias here, but I think our centres are the best in SL at the moment.

What better than Gidley, Shenton eg or do you mean as a pairing?

They are good although they probably lack that extra bit of pace which comes in handy if you break the line

I'd rather have Senior in the side than Clubb any day. Not Howell though.

Where's the link there?

How many games this season has Clubb played at left centre? Therefore how can you compare.

You will be comparing Feka at Wigan with Penny at Wire(Widnes) next.

This appears to be not dissimilar to your comparisons of Mbu with Dorn

I'm only comparing player on player, they have similar roles, centres that drift away every so often. I was only refering to their defensive/attacking abilities, not whether they are left/right players etc. Senior seems to spend most of his game in the forwards anyway, so again, i'd rather have him there than Clubb.

What next, getting upset about comparing loose head and tight head props?

Listy o' Listy you've lost the plot with this one.

You can only compare a centre against a centre surly. This year Clubby has rarely featured in the centres and therefore on current form it would be difficult to run a comparison.

I would be interesting to see Senior feature as a prop ala Clubby
