Apologies to all the decent people on this site (of which I'm sure there are some)

I seriously find it amazing that people on here havent got the drive or determination to seriously try and turn London Harlequins into a real Rugby League powerhouse. You are clearly happy with the way things are. You see sausage sizzles, Family hours and watching Rugby Union games as the future of footy in London. There is a massive market out there. Yet you have failed to exploit it!

I can see why Richard Branson bailed!!!

Such a shame. I guess it typifies Pommie attitudes in general though. No drive. No determination. No urge to better themselves.



My prediction is that 'Harlequins RL' will probably last for another 3 or 4 years before being bailed out by the RFL (again) and moving to another part of the city and reforming under a different name.


I won't bother posting here again....I'll just leave you all to it!!


hope the 'dance off' and the 'Family hour' pulls the crowds in....I shall watch with interest!!

Perhaps you've missed all the marketing ideas that we've thrown up on here (with the club ignoring much of), perhaps you've also missed the fans volunteers group ideas. There's only so much we can do when the club have not taken up a lot of the ideas we've suggested. We're passionate, we're loyal, we've worked hard to keep our own club afloat over the past 30 years (perhaps you should find out about how OUR supporters kept the club going from the mid 80s when we were thrown out of Craven Cottage, and turned the Polytechnic Stadium into a venue in which the game could be played. Maybe then you'll appreciate just what we've done over the last 30 years.

As pointed out in another thread, unfortunately Barry seems to be banned from the forum (although nobody has banned him). I have tried to sort it out for him but he says he's not bothered
