Skolars on Sky this Thursday : Sat Aug 01, 2009 2:17 pm  

If anyone is brave enough to watch it, the Skolars make their Sky debut this Thursday at Oldham. In fact the Skolars have played better away than at home this season and no doubt will be pulling out all the stops to look good on TV. I wonder how many Quins lads will play. This is not the Skolars TV debut as I think one of their games at the Crusaders were on SC4. If anyone is in the Oldham area admission is free but there will be a charity collection.

It's seriously bad luck that Skolars first ever Sky game happens to be this season, when they are as strong as a soaking wet paper bag. If anyone wants to see a good competitive close match, this certainly won't be the one for you.

I think maybe appointing a 28 yr old head coach was a bad move! Hope they can pick up next year with some new signings and a good head coach.

The game will be shown at the Faltering Fullback pub in Finsbury Park. I will be there after finals night of Skolars Tag Rugby.
