Crowd Watch 2013 : Mon Feb 18, 2013 6:38 pm
24 Months into his tenure and we are on a current average of 2,372 per game....down from 3,380 when he joined...30%. That's over 1,000 fans who have decided to spend their 20 quid elsewhere at the weekends. Interestingly....if these 1,000 missing fans would have dropped say 30 notes each in tickets and residuals, then by the seasons end, Gus will need to have served the better part of 10,000 2 course meals to reoup that money....does the Legends lounge hold 750?
The Telesales team will now be in place, dialling furiously to attract "corporates" to the 40 note nosebag affair for the visit of East Hull......3,267 is the average for their trip south over the last 6 years....2,726 on Gus's watch.....or 3,537 before he came on board.
I suspect that the residents of Richmond and Twickenham will remain blissfully unaware of the clubs existance and instead of actually doing any DIRECT marketing, a call will be made to the local rags to run the generic copy again
Anyone got any faith in us getting over 2k?
