Can't see any online, also what is the area like, is it a ground we can develop into our own SL standard venue?
Tidy little 3,500 seater (1,600 standing) ground that the neighbours didn't know was being built until it was too late. Therefore, I doubt any expansion to 12,000 seats will be accepted by them.
There seems (from the pictures of the weekends kick a bout) to be little if any fencing/hoardings around the perimeter of the pitch......I doubt the RFL will be happy with that as it does seem like you can jus step onto the grass.
Banqueting for 500 people, a Gymnasium and as far as I can make out, 2 bars, this is a tidy little ground that suits a non-league football club but wouldn't do if Barnet ever climb up the league again.
If London Broncos are to survive here, it will be as a Championship club at best.
Although Gus has done a splendid job in reducing our crowds to the state where HE HAS NEVER HAD A GATE BIG ENOUGH TO FILL THIS PLACE, if we were to be allowed to play here in Superleague, then the likes of Wigan, St Helens and Leeds would need to receive limited tickets and would need to be confined to a terrace at one end.
I would think that the Police/RFL would require some form of barrier between the fans and the pitch itself, as it would only take one idiot trying to burn his shirt or shouting hateful comments at players yards away that would see us evicted.
It is a sorry state of affairs that Gus has driven the club down this route, but there's little that can be done about it now unless my Lotto numbers come up.
