See that Mason Caton-Brown played for London Irish A team last week and O'Callaghan is playing for them tonight. Are they switching to Union, or just helping out.

FWIW Mason Caton-Brown fitted in well as Irish got a real spanking from Exeter!!!

Sad that they went to union though. Mason Caton-Brown might have done quite well in league.

Worse than that a lot more of our youth will go to the dark side and not just the u19's.

Each AP RU club are obliged to run an A team and enter it into the competition.
They could well be just 'helping out'.

Also if the club survive i suspect i suspect some will come back as we will need them. We just cant commit just yet.

Surely a northern team would sign Caton-Brown if we went under? 2 games, 4 tries was it? Got to be worth a year contract.

Probably get a bigger contract with Union, and he wouldn't have to move.

I don't know who backs LI, or how much cash they've got, but they are one of the favourites for relegation, so it's not the smartest of career moves.

The Exiles are owned by London Irish Holdings Limited and are in debt to the tune of about £18,000,000 as of the last set of accounts and they have seen their attendances taper off in recent years.
As for career moves being smart.....I would say that the Exiles would be a step up in salary and security compared to the Broncos.
