That's a shame. He always seemed to shrug off any injury, but this one sounds like it might be the end of the road for him.

Without wishing to come across all Jack Wilshere what was he even doing in the Italian squad in the first place?

BTW did Frank Napoli get a call cup?

Maternal grandfather was Italian.

Yes he did. Frank Napoli played for Italy v France in 1999 and was on the winning side!

Did Nick Zisti, once of Bradford, ever play for the Italian RL side?

He did end up playing for Italy in an RU World Cup.
